Many businesses and even some high-end residences are beginning to understand the importance of environment control as it relates to computer systems, namely server. Having an environment that is not controlled can cost you money when your housing multiple servers or other computer or electronic equipment. Maybe your not housing servers but maintain a greenhouse in which you grow specialty plants or you keep exotic animal; whatever the case you need to be able to monitor the environment and maintain certain perimeters, like humidity.  A humidity monitor or hydrometer is an instrument that measures relative humidity of the atmosphere or the proportion of water in a specified gas without extracting the moisture. The WatchDog 15 is a self-contained unit with temperature and humidity/dew-point sensors. If you need to have precise monitoring of humidity or temperature, this is a great device. It has inputs for up to four external sensors and it is network-enabled so you can monitor the your controlled environment from a remote location. The device can be configured to send you text or email alerts if the sensors detect levels outside of your specifications. A variety of plug-and-play sensors are available for use with the WatchDog 15 like airflow, power usage and several others. If your "environment" needs to be tightly controlled, you need monitoring tools. This is a good one.
