Vibration Welding

Plastic Assembly Systems (PAS) provides high quality plastic assembly solutions, technical support and excellent customer service for the unique requirements of each of their customers. Its vibration welders with electromechanical vibration head assembly come in three sizes and are compatible with all current PAS assembly system components.

Some of the standard features are:
• Four rail ridged table slide system
• Large flame cut bridge
• 15hp digital solid state vibration drive
• Automatic tuning
• Interactive and intuitive comprehensive help menu in English or Spanish
• Color touch screen display
• Programmable amplitude
• Interior work light

Vibration plastic welding is the method used to join very large plastic parts. It uses frictional heat and pressure that is generated in an orbital or linear motion as a vibration. One part is fixed and the other part is vibrated against it. Vibration welding is the best solution for irregularly shaped parts, very large parts and difficult to weld resins that don’t work with other plastic welding systems. The seals produced are high-pressure hermetic seals and are structurally very strong. It has more tolerance variation and wall thickness considerations than most other methods. It has closed loop process controls.

The PAS vibration welder has:
• Welding by time or distance
• Automatic weight compensation and frequency control
• Touch screen interface with memory storage for multiple programs
• Automatic control for vibration amplitude during welding
• Sequencing for multistage welding
• Welding history that can be printed

PAS also offers:
• Thermal Assembly Systems
• Ultrasonic Welders
• Hot Plate Welding
• Spin Welders
• Tooling
• Spare Parts
• Custom Assembly Systems
• Used Equipment
