Microsoft try to make up ground in the Mobile market

Microsoft is trying to get back to being a top-dog in the mobile arena. Not more than six years ago, Microsoft was running more than 25% of all smartphones and was expecting their market share to continue to grow. Apple and Blackberry far out-paced Microsoft since then. Apple dominates the consumer segment and Blackberry has a stronghold on business tech segment
I am not surprised. I have had two phones that ran various versions of the Window Mobile Operating System (WMOS) and I am not impressed! I find that WMOS is slow, compared to Apple and Blackberry OSs and seems to be more 'buggy'. It seems that you have to restart Windows powered devices more often to 'unfreeze' an application and I have also experienced 'restart loops', where the battery has to be removed, replaced and the device restarted; multiple times! I do prefer the WMOS handling of documents (including pdfs) and the fact that it is a lesser transition from working on my PC at work and home to completing tasks on my device.
Microsoft has a plan.

On Feb. 15, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Microsoft will unveil its latest effort to get back into the game. Microsoft’s updated software should have the advantage of easily handling word processing and spreadsheets sent from PCs. It also will be more integrated with the company’s Xbox game machine and Zune music player, so users can share music and videos among Microsoft devices. I hope they make it faster and less buggy too.

I hope they get it right!

A friend of mine mentioned 2012 last night to me and it's the first I heard about it so I jumped on here out of curiosity. I think it's kind of sick and sounds like a bunch of skeptical jargon.
I choose to live every day like it is the last because let's be real, WHO THE HELL KNOWS what is going to happen or when it's your time to go on. The past is history, the future is a mystery and now is a gift, thats why it's called the present. It's not healthy to sit around and trip out about when you will die. Stop wasting your time you have now.
