This is the age of the mobile personal device.  We love our gadgets. We have smartphones, tablets, iPods, mp3 players, digital cameras, GPS devices and I'm sure I missed something. The point is we have become more and more of a mobile society and we have now grown accustom to having information, music and our social media at our finger tips at all times. All these electronics are great until your battery runs out, rendering the device useless.


With the rise of all these mobile devices, having a reliable battery source is very important. Most devices will come equipped with rechargeable batteries built in, but for those that don't, like digital cameras and mp3 players, a good 
usb battery charger can save you money and time. I know my digital camera runs through batteries at an alarming rate. Especially if you want to leave it on stand-by. Batteries can quickly become an expensive necessity. Portable usb battery chargers are perfect for situations like the one with my digital camera. Instead of buying a bag full of batteries by 2-3 sets of rechargeable batteries and you can create a battery rotation. Charge the dead batteries while you use the charged up ones.
